Word to HTML

Word to HTML turns a document into structured markup — headings, paragraphs, lists and tables as real elements instead of inline Word styling. It is the practical way to move content from a draft in Word onto a website or CMS without dragging in the proprietary markup Word generates. Everything runs in your browser.

How to use Word to HTML

  1. Select the .docx file you want to convert.
  2. Press Convert and the document structure is translated to semantic HTML.
  3. Review the markup — headings become h1–h6, lists become ul or ol, tables become table.
  4. Copy the HTML or download it as an .html file.

Word to HTML FAQ

Is the output clean HTML?

Yes. You get semantic elements rather than Word’s span-heavy markup, which is easier to paste into a CMS or style sheet.

Are images included?

Text and structure come across; embedded images are not exported as separate assets by this tool.

Where is the file processed?

In your browser. The document is parsed locally and never uploaded.
