Resize Image

Resize Image scales a picture to the exact dimensions you need — by pixel size or by percentage — while keeping the proportions correct so nothing ends up stretched. Use it to shrink a photo for the web, produce a fixed-size thumbnail, or reduce a huge export to something an email will accept.

How to use Resize Image

  1. Choose the image you want to scale.
  2. Enter target dimensions in pixels or a percentage, keeping the aspect ratio locked if you want undistorted output.
  3. Press Resize and let the server resample the image.
  4. Download the resized file and confirm the dimensions.

Resize Image FAQ

Will the aspect ratio be preserved?

With the ratio locked, yes — change one dimension and the other follows automatically. Unlock it only when you deliberately want a different shape.

Can I make an image bigger?

You can, but scaling up adds no real detail and may look soft. Start from the original high-resolution file whenever you can.

How is this different from cropping?

Scaling changes the size of the whole picture; cropping cuts part of it away. Use both when you need a specific size from a larger source.
