Rotate Image

Rotate Image turns photos that came out sideways or upside down the right way round — a common result of phone cameras and scanners. Rotate by 90, 180 or 270 degrees, download, and stop apologising for attached images that recipients have to crane their necks to read.

How to use Rotate Image

  1. Select the image that is the wrong way round.
  2. Choose the rotation: 90°, 180° or 270°.
  3. Press Rotate and let the server re-render the picture.
  4. Download the corrected image and confirm the orientation.

Rotate Image FAQ

Can I rotate by an arbitrary angle like 15°?

The tool handles the standard quarter and half turns. For small straightening adjustments, an editor with free-angle rotation is the better fit.

Does rotating reduce quality?

No. The pixel data is reorganised rather than re-compressed away, so the image stays as sharp as the original.

My image loses its orientation after upload — why?

Some devices store orientation in EXIF metadata instead of the pixels. Rotating here bakes the correct orientation into the file permanently.
